Fixing Scratched Discs…..

Scratched your Favourite Xbox 360 Disc? Or probably your PS3/PS2 Disc? Why not the Game CD of your Favourite PC Game then?? Well, it happens to everyone. For those of you who support piracy(that excludes me) and use pirated versions, that is no big Deal. But, for those of you who have shelled out 50$ for a Game, it DOES MATTER.

So, it mattered to me. I searched the net high and low, but i found the answer in my bathroom! Yes, my BATHROOM. You can fix your Scratched Disc by using Toothpaste!
Want to know how?? Then read the following steps-

• Take your Disc in your Palm and analyse how bad it is, how much you loved the game.
• Wash your Disc with the tap on with low pressure.
• Take some dry cotton and wipe the disc. IT IS IMPORTANT NOT TO PUT PRESSURE ON THE DISC.
• Take a little bit of Toothpaste(any will do) on a small swab of Cotton.
• Start wiping the Discs with the swab from the inside(important), that is from the center to the outer area.
• Wipe it in a uniform manner all over the disc. Do this repeatedly until you feel the scratched have reduced(or you are too tired!).
• Again-Wash your Disc with the tap on with low pressure.
• And Again wipe the Disc with dry cotton(but from center to circumference).
• Let it to dry for a few Minutes.
• Try playing the Disc again.

What we have done here is that we have polished the scratches on the CD with toothpaste! So, while your DVD- Drive is trying to read it, it will not stop at the scratched and simple Glide over it!
