Nvidia Reveals Series 9 Card-

I had recently said that Nvidia Would soon be rolling out a Series 9 Card very soon . And guess what? They did so on the 21st of February. They unvieled the Nvidia 9600GT. The 9600 Gt is supposed the most powerful Mid-Range ard ever lauched by Nvidia. It performs 80% of the 8800GT which is a high end card.

It performs excellently on games such as Crysis, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War and other Games as well.

The Interesting thing here is that the price of Nvidia’s latest card cannot be termed mid-range. It should be in between the high and mid-range.  At a price of 219$, you wouldn’t be calling it cheap. But, it is the cheapest card for Gaming enthusiasts who like to play in veru high-resolutions of upto 1080i.
For all Extreme Gamers, this is a must go if you want DirectX 10 and haven’t upgraded as of yet.
Another thing to be noted here is that we can now expect the prices of the 8 Series Cards to Drop. Remember, i had told you i would be getting a 8600GT/GTS? Forget it now. The 8800 GS is coming home to me now this April(after my exams in March AND the Indian Budget 2008).
